Week 4
Every champion must be willing to believe in his/her dream when others seem too busy or uncaring to encourage him/her.
18 "Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.
Isaiah 43:18-19
Do not let others distract you from God’s assignment for your life. Avoid over-scheduling today to accommodate the expectations of others and never feel obligated to relationships that de-motivate you. Great inventor (Thomas Edison for example) faced the waves of ridicule and scorn before their genius was recognized and appreciated. Don’t forget to keep your focus on where you are going and refuse to be discouraged by the present circumstances that will soon pass. Remember: "I will never fail you nor forsake you." Heb.13:5.
Those you admire, eternally affect your future. Choose a mentor that will increase your faith in God. Learn from the scars of your mentor as well as his/her sermon.
More Scriptures
12 But we beseech you, brethren, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,
13 and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work…1Thess.5:12-13
8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.Phil.4:8
Thoughtfully
Never hesitate to reappraise your goals and what you really want to accomplish. Remember that your goals are birthed out of needs… and your needs are often seasonal. Don’t keep pursuing a dream that is no longer capable of energizing you. Celebrate every pages of progress toward your goals Poco a poco there you will be!
Till next week Shalom.
